Wow! This was a big and steady umbrella. I am very happy with it since my kids do a lot sport. This is really awesome for sport rainy days.
We used to have a large umbrella similar to this one in size but the key difference was that it didn't have double canopy or the automatic open feature. The automatic open feature is very convenient but it's not essential. However, the double canopy does make a huge difference between my old umbrella flipped open the other side with a big gust of wind and few frames bent and broke. This was a great replacement because it has double canopy design, which helps the wind escape without flip opening.WHAT I LIKE:[+] Very large surface area. You won't get wet with this umbrella.[+] Double canopy design - the most important feature[+] Automatic one touch open feature - convenienet[+] Comes with umbrella sleeve for storage and easy carrying strap[+] The quality of the material and shaft feels strong and solid.WHAT I DON'T LIKE:[-] I wish the umbrella sleeve's end was closed so that water doesn't drip out when wet umbrella is put inside the sleeve but this is not a deal breaker since umbrellas usually don't come with a sleeve.BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this umbrella to anyone who needs ample coverage from rain to avoid getting wet. The double canopy design will make sure it stays open the way it needs to be even against strong wind. It works nice easy handeled
Bought this as a gift for a tiny friend who treks through the weather using the bus. Bought the silver color which is just beautiful. But be aware this umbrella is so long inside its carrier, that if a person is less than 5',6", and worn over the shoulder, the carrier will almost drag the ground. I bought the smallest circumference available. But it is certainly a quality item - just be aware of its size. I am sure it will stand up in a tornado.
Holds up well in breezy/windy rain. Easy to deploy and collapse. The span offers effective protection from the elements. This umbrella comes with a holder that has a shoulder strap. Putting the umbrella back into it after use will require a little patience. I would buy another Gonex, if needed.

I couldn't even use the umbrella because I couldn't get past the awful smell from it. It is big but unfortunately I have to return it.
I don't carry this much so can't really attest to how easy it is to hold. It goes into my umbrella holder on my push cart. But I have used this a couple of times for sun protection and it is great! The reflective layer creates a nice personal shade so while my cohorts are sweating away, I am comfortable!

This is exactly what my spouse wanted especially in the heat we live in. The umbrella is large and has good coverage when opened. Once open the material is not see through, which blocks out the sun. The only downfall is this is long and does not fold. Overall a good purchase to beat the heat
