I am very impressed with the quality and function of the Gonex Vacuum Bag. The material is very solid with great features, including: a tight seal, waterproof zipper, handle, and pump. The pump took a little getting used to figuring out how to operate it initially as it was not turning on when pressing the top as instructed. The seal is holding as intended. This is the third of three different travel bag styles we are trying out in advance of our 25 day South America/Antarctica journey in 2026. Of the three, the Gonex bag is hands down the best one. I only wish there were differentsize bags available (maybe already in the works?). We also used the Gonex compression bags on our trip to Europe this summer, which were great, but was looking for the clear Gonex vacuum bag as a different option. The first pic shows how well the sealed bag works, with pump for reference. The second pic shows the Gonex bag as received next to the other option we tested. The other bag with a manual zip lock closure was very hard to seal and the bag did not hold the vacuum due to the creases in the zip lock from shipping in a box. I reviewed those bags seperately. Hands Down, the Gonex Vacuum bags are the Winner. We will be buying more and using them with confidence that the seals will hold. Great product!
Innovative zipper-style vacuum travel bag concept with included pump - no vacuum cleaner needed while traveling. Saves space by compressing clothes into a compact block, blocks moisture and smells. Thick plastic construction feels durable. No plasticky smell requiring airing out before use. Soft cooler-style zipper far more convenient than food storage click zippers in cheaper vacuum bags. Easy to use, the t-handle zipper simplifies opening and closing. Fitted 10 adult large shirts with space remaining, easily could have added more clothing. Seems pricey initially, good value with included pump. Pump usable for other items like pool inflatables. Expand collection later by purchasing additional bags.
Thick, well-made bags. Appreciate the air pump's green charge indicator (red when first plugged in). Smaller than expected, yet performs excellently. Slightly whiny noise level, though not bothersome (my wife disagreed, ha).
Bags hold considerably more than appearance suggests even before air removal. Checked days after deflation - no air loss detected. Clear top design allows easy visibility of contents.
Sending them to college with my son for efficient storage of infrequently used items.
Previously purchased Gonex bags, encountered one issue. Issues happen, yet their customer support resolved it superbly - would purchase again.
