After reading reviews of this item I thought it would be a great purchase for the price. I travel a lot and needed a big and durable rolling travel bag. Unfortunately the material got a large rip in it after just one flight! I sent a photo of the damage to Gonex and they offered me 20% of the cost of the bag so I could buy a patch. Ridiculous offer - if it ripped so easily after one trip then there's no way I can trust this thing for the amount of travel I do. Also ridiculous that they did not offer me a full refund. Buyer beware.

Purchased this for a replacement travel bag for my SCUBA diving trips. This rolling duffel fits all my dive gear in the main pocket then I have enough room with the multiple of pockets in both inside and outside for the remainder of my packing. I definitely pack light - a few shirts, few shorts, bathing suit, toiletries. Many divers check two bags, but now I can check one with this duffel.
This bag is well constructed with quality material. Just look at the size of the wheels and all of the heavy duty plastic surrounding them. The telescoping handle has two height settings and the bag has multiple grab handles. There are two multi directional, heavy duty zippers on the main compartment and also the main zipper compartment on the outside. It has heavy duty handle on the bottom so it won’t fall over when you let go.
One of the reasons I picked this bag is the pockets on the outside, they expand outward instead of inward, giving me more packing room, especially with my gear on the inside being so bulky. Furthermore, it comes equipped with integrated tiedowns, so you can compress your luggage from the outside.
I would say a similar bag would be either a Patagonia rolling duffel or an Osprey rolling duffel, the quality is similar. I own a few Patagonia duffels and a couple of Osprey backpacks but refuse to pay the outrageous cost of their rolling duffels.
I also own a first aid kit and collapsible chair from Gonex which are both five stars because of the thoughtfulness of design and high-quality.

So far so good! On my first trip with it now. It appears the airlines dragged it down the ramp on its top and it held up quite well. Love the extra pouch on the top. Great place to stick last minute items without have to open the whole bag.

This puppy is large and in charge! I bought the larger (90L?) one. It fits a lot! I packed for 11 days in Alaska, with hiking boots, tall rain boots, multiple outdoor work pants, and jackets. It still had room.It's lightweight but the material feels tough. You can pack the thing to the brim and fit a lot before hitting typical travel weight limits.The zippers slide smooth, almost too smooth, as they sometimes come undone in travel.It has compression straps to help keep things from moving around when not stuffed full.The pocket on the front is gigantic itself and can fit as much as a regular bag on its own!I got multiple compliments on the bag when traveling. It's size makes it stand out, and in the green it looks nice (though shows wear quickly).It's a TALL bag, which was a big selling point for me as when I travel with film gear I can fit light stands inside.For the price point, I'd say this bag is definitely worth the buy. I have yet to try the small, but if you need a real "trunk" the large one is great!

Update below!!!Just a heads up i had a zipper failure on the first trip. I took this case with me to CO and when i got to my rental place and went to un pack found the missing zipper pull. I love the look and function otherwise. I even have the smaller version i have used for a couple years with no problem. Just a bummer it didn't even make it one tripUPDATE they sent me a whole new one. I was not expecting hear from them at all. Customer service is a 10/10. The offered me a refund but i mentioned I'd prefer a working zipper because i did like the case. Without hesitation the next day i had a email asking me to confirm my mailing address. It arrived today and I'm stoked. Thank you to whoever reads these and thank you thank you

Great bag...it holds a boat load. Seems to be very well made and I truly it'll hold up over time. It's important to note that the bag is large...definitely larger than I expected. Is that a problem? Not really. The picture I've posted is with it against the back of my sofa to show scale. It's tall enough that you don't really need to use the retractable handle especially if you're a shorter person (I'd say 5'7" and under). If you're really small in stature I'd maybe reconsider due to the height. All that aside...GREAT BAG!!

This is an awesome bag. It's super big (i'm about 5'3 and it goes to my hip), and it's very durable.The actual bag itself is super light and has nice wheels and good support straps. You can tell it's gonna last well. This is exactly what we needed, definitely recommend if you do a lot of traveling and want a light, but spacious bag. I'd rather spend this than spend $350 on The North Face's duffle that's similar to this.

Used for a trip to Alaska. Was impressed with the capacity. In addition to the typical clothing , it also held a pair of hiking boots and binoculars! There was even room left over, enough for survivors.

The bag is quite durable. The porters did their best, the bag made it home with just a couple of scuff marks.

Next purchase will need to be a Gonex rolling cary on bag.

Very nice bag. Sturdy construction and a lot of compartment areas. Only complaint is that I wish it was larger. I had a 131L that was still too small for me, but doable. I have approximately 2 weeks of work clothes with winter and rain gear plus regular clothes in my bag at all times.

I travel a lot for fishing, which means carrying a lot of gear (rods, reels, waders, boots, clothing, outerwear--a lot) and the rolling duffel holds everything, is secure, rugged, reasonably priced and, for all that it does, not too heavy. It's just a real workaholic, reliable and good looking. It's a winner.

Great product. Received quickly in time for my trip. Glad you added the additional handles on the top to lift the bags.

Just what I exspected

Very spacious back. Shipping was pretty fast. After one trip however, my bag is showing signs of wear. Overall very happy with it though

I ordered this bag for an international move. It took a beating! and kept running. Love the large wheels. Easy to handle in tight situations, and when heavy. Handles are well placed for maneuvering.

The bag is fine, it seems to be well-built enough and the materials are pretty robust. I have not had the chance to travel with it yet.

What I did not like was the customer service experience I had. Upon receiving the bag, I realized it was too large for my needs and I wanted the next size down. I asked to send the bag back in exchange for a smaller model. I was told I was responsible for return shipping, which is frustrating. I purposely ordered from Gonex and not Amazon (whose return policy is great) because I wanted to support the company directly. I was also told that they would not exchange because their stock of the size I wanted was too low. I still do not understand that response. Overall pretty disappointing, however good the bag is I can't support a company that won't support their customers.
